Wanted: Enthusiastic, Civic-minded Teens as Volunteer Leaders to Improve the Lives of Seniors and Adults with Disabilities
Mission
To inspire and equip teens to make a positive impact by serving older adults and adults with disabilities through leadership, advocacy, and volunteerism.

Program Overview
The Youth Advisory Board (YAB) is a structured leadership program operating during the academic school year (September–May). Members develop leadership skills while participating in meaningful service and community initiatives.
Eligibility
Open to youth ages 13–18 in the Greater St. Louis region.
Members must:

Complete a Youth Advisory Board application

Maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA
-
Demonstrate good communication and professional conduct
-
Obtain parent/guardian consent
Time Commitment
-
Attend at least 6 of 8 monthly meetings during the school year
-
Participate in at least 3 service activities annually
-
Commit approximately 2–4 hours per month
-
Meetings are held monthly via Google Meet.
Leadership & Service Opportunities
Members may serve in elected officer roles, including Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary, and Communications Chair.
