Youth Advisory Board Benefits:
A great way to develop leadership skills, gain fundraising experience and build professional skill-sets that may lead to future employment

Time Commitment:
Attend monthly Youth Advisory Board meetings (12 per year; 1 hour in length each; must attend a minimum of 8 of the 12 meetings annually); actively participate in planning, organizing, and delivering (2 hours per month minimum); total commitment including monthly Youth Advisory Board meetings (between 2 and 4 hours)

Purpose:
To provide a framework for teens to develop opportunities to serve seniors and adults with disabilities within their community.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Listen and actively participate in Youth Advisory Board meetings.

• Recruit and help orient new members.

• Be accountable to other teens.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Complete Youth Advisory Board volunteer application

• Good communication skills 

• Genuine interest in helping others
